2026年5月5日の夕方から、大國魂神社の例大祭「くらやみ祭」で行われる神輿渡御を撮影しました。
くらやみ祭を見るのは、今回が初めてでした。
夕方の時間帯から現地に入り、日が落ちて夜の空気に変わっていく様子を感じながら待っていました。
そして夜になると、御太鼓の音が響き、力強く進む神輿、威勢のよい掛け声が重なり合い、祭の迫力が一気に高まっていきました。
その場にいなければ感じられない音と熱気があり、とても印象的な時間でした。
神輿を担ぐ方々の団結感、周囲で見守る人々の高揚感、そして祭全体を包む独特の緊張感。
初めて見た私にも、長く受け継がれてきた祭の力が強く伝わってきました。
やはり祭は良いですね。
音、光、人の動き、掛け声、そして一体感。
普段の街とは違う特別な空気があり、見ているだけでも気持ちが高まるような夜でした。

This video was filmed from the evening of May 5, 2026, during the mikoshi procession at the Kurayami Festival, the annual grand festival of Okunitama Shrine.
It was my first time seeing the Kurayami Festival in person.
I arrived in the evening and spent some time waiting as the daylight faded and the atmosphere gradually shifted into night.
Once night fell, the sound of taiko drums began to echo, and the powerful movement of the mikoshi, together with the energetic chants, brought the festival atmosphere to life.
The sound, energy, and excitement could only be felt on site, making it a truly memorable experience.
The unity of the people carrying the mikoshi, the rising excitement of the crowd, and the unique tension surrounding the festival all came together in an impressive way.
Even as a first-time visitor, I could strongly feel the power of a tradition that has been passed down over many years.
Festivals really are something special.
The sounds, lights, movement, voices, and sense of unity created a powerful atmosphere that felt completely different from everyday life.
