2026年6月6日、約2年半ぶりに大田黒公園を訪れました。
大田黒公園は、閑静な住宅街の中にありながら、一歩園内に入ると、街の空気から少し切り離されたような静かな時間が流れています。
以前から何度も訪れていた公園ですが、昔の記憶にある池の美しさと比べると、ここ数年は水の透明感が少し失われてきたように感じていました。そのことがずっと気になっていたのですが、今回久しぶりに訪れてみると、池の水が以前のように美しくなっていて、とても印象的でした。
澄んだ水の中を、鯉たちがゆったりと泳ぐ姿を見ることができ、懐かしさとともに、静かな感動がありました。
この日は光の入り方も美しく、風も心地よく、園内では鳥の囀りや鶯の声も聞こえていました。水の揺らぎ、木々の緑、差し込む光、そして優雅に泳ぐ鯉たち。視覚だけでなく、音も含めて癒し効果の高い、とても穏やかな公園だと改めて感じました。
国内外から多くの方が訪れていて、以前はここまで海外からの来園者が多い印象はなかったため、元杉並区民としても、時代の変化を感じる一日でした。
初夏の大田黒公園に流れる、光、風、水、鳥の声、そして鯉たちの静かな時間を楽しんでいただければ幸いです。

On June 6, 2026, I visited Otaguro Park for the first time in about two and a half years.
Otaguro Park is located in a quiet residential area, but once you step inside, it feels as if you have entered a calm and peaceful space slightly separated from the city.
I had visited this park many times before, and compared to my memories of its beautiful pond from years ago, I had recently felt that the water had gradually lost some of its clarity. That had stayed on my mind for a while, so I was truly impressed on this visit to see the pond looking beautiful again, almost like it used to be.
Watching the koi swim gracefully through the clear water brought back a quiet sense of nostalgia and appreciation.
The light and wind were both beautiful that day. Inside the park, I could also hear birds singing, including the call of a Japanese bush warbler. The gentle movement of the water, the greenery, the soft sunlight, and the elegant koi created a deeply relaxing atmosphere not only visually, but also through sound.
Many visitors from Japan and abroad were enjoying the park as well. As a former Suginami resident, I felt how much the atmosphere around the park has changed over the years.
